Over the last 15 years – the average age for women to get pregnant has gone way up.
And unfortunately, the older a woman is, the more likely she might have trouble conceiving.
For Face the State this week, we got interviewed by KTNVabout new treatment options and some big misconceptions about miscarriages.
Dr. Whitten says: “In most cases – there are treatment options for all the reasons why a couple might struggle to conceive. And if they end up using in-vitro fertilization, there’s a new way to make sure it’s a healthy pregnancy with no genetic issues. “There are ways for us to test embryos prior to them getting pregnant, so they don’t have to go through that. And that is the latest technology that’s out there. It’s called pre-implantation genetic screening.”
