My name is Debbie and I work with Good Start Genetics and our company partners with Dr. Whitten and the Nevada Center for Reproductive Medicine to offer patients genetic testing. So there are two types of genetic testing we offer, one is preconception carrier screening which is recommended for all men and women of reproductive age and it’s testing for mostly autosomal recessive disorders that folks should get tested for before they decide to have a baby to ensure that they have a healthy baby. So it increases the odds. The other type of testing we offer through Nevada Center is for embryos and we do preimplantation genetic screening and that’s a testing where someone actually has a biopsy done from their embryo, they send it into our lab and we’re making sure that those embryos are chromosomal to normal before they’re transferred back to the female. So those are the two different types of tests that we are offering and this is Good Start Genetics.
