The professional team at The Nevada Center for Reproductive Medicine is a highly experienced and talented group of kind, caring individuals. The staff of NCRM is committed to assisting patients to achieve their ultimate goal - the birth of a child.
Medical Staff
Dr. Russell Foulk, MD
Dr. Foulk is the Founder and Director of Northern Nevada’s only IVF center.
Dr. Scott J. Whitten, M.D.
Dr. Whitten is a board-certified subspecialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He focuses on helping infertile couples to achieve pregnancy utilizing both low and high tech therapies as well as treat female reproductive disorders such as endometriosis and fibroids.
Shannon L. McGrath, RNC, MSN
Shannon is our Nurse Practitioner and Oocyte Donor Coordinator. Shannon graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and continued her education at Vanderbilt University, earning a master’s degree in 2000. She joined the Nevada Center for Reproductive Medicine in October 2000, providing preventative healthcare for women across the lifespan as well as coordinating the egg donor program. She is responsible for screening, matching and monitoring donor and recipient cycles, as well as performing ultrasounds and intrauterine inseminations. She is a member of ASRM, AWHONN, and the National Association of NP’s in Women’s Health.
Jenny Brown, RNC, MSN
Jenny brings many years of experience in Woman's Health to the NCRM team. She is one of our nurse practitioners and is responsible for coordinating our frozen embryo and embryo donation programs. Jenny received her bachelors in nursing in 1996 and later her Master�s in 2001, both from the Texas Women's University. She has her national certification as a nurse practitioner and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society.

Laboratory Staff
Patty Julian, M.S., Embryologist, Laboratory Manager
Patty has been in the field of Human Embryology, specializing in all ART procedures for more than 20 years. Patty manages, monitors and performs all lab procedures, as well as maintains all records and compliance with certifying organizations such as JCAHO and CLIA. Patty is responsible for the annual reporting of our statistics to the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology. Patty is a member of ASRM.
Shuzhuang Lu, MD, ELD, HCLD, Embryologist
Su received her M.D. degree and practiced medicine in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology in China. She worked for 8 years total at both the University of Southern California as well as Yale University in Molecular Biology. She joined The Nevada Center for Reproductive Medicine in 1997. She is performing all ART procedures, including PGD. She holds both the HCLD (High-Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director) and ELD (Embryology Laboratory Director) certificates.
Nina Harris, BS, MS
Nina joined our laboratory staff in 2007 and has been responsible for the preparation of semen samples, performing hormone assays, and assisting with IVF procedures. She is a member of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society.

Nursing Staff
Traci Rawson, RN, BSN
Traci is one of the patient coordinators for our IVF program. Traci graduated with her BSN from the University of Nevada-Reno in 1994. She worked in the field of Labor and Delivery, High Risk Antepartum and Maternal Fetal Medicine for over 5 years and joined the NCRM team in 2001. She provides many services in our office; performs and evaluates ultrasounds, laboratory procedures, patient teaching, schedule coordination and evaluation, and is able to assist in all IVF and non-ART procedures.
Patti Chick, LPN
Patti is the coordinator for all our non-ART cycles which includes insemination and ovulation induction cycles. Patti graduated from St. Mary’s Nursing Program and has over 29 years of experience; 24 of those years have been in Women’s Health. Patti joined The Nevada Center for Reproductive Medicine in 1996. Patti assists with new patients, performs blood draws, conducts patient teaching and assists in all IVF procedures. Patti is a member of ASRM.
Aida Lizarraga, Medical Assistant and Surgery Scheduler
Aida has been in the field of reproductive medicine for over ten years. Aida manages optimal patient care by maintaining efficiency in a clean and caring environment. She assists with patient care by teaching as well as translating for Spanish speaking patients. She is responsible for maintaining a smooth surgery schedule and keeps in close contact with hospitals and surgical centers.
Julie O'Leary, R.N., BSN
Julie is a vital part of the nursing staff and completed her BSN at the University of Nevada-Reno. She is one of our IVF coordinators, assisting patients with their schedules, injections, and appointments. Additionally, you may meet Julie in several nursing areas as she is actively involved in patient teaching, surgical procedures, and managing of ART and non-ART patients.
Veronica Bohanan, Medical Assistant
Veronica is a certified medical assistant and phlebotomy technician. She assists our physicians, nurses, and patients with many tasks to achieve optimal patient care. She is an integral and cheerful addition the staff here at NCRM

Management & Administration
Anita Emmrich, Administrator, Office Manager, Financial Counselor
Anita has been in the medical field for over 25 years, more than 15 have been in the field of reproductive medicine. Her responsibilities include credentialing, human resources, insurance/billing, and all aspects of managing our office. She also does financial counseling in order to help patients determine their financial options available. Anita is a member of The Medical Group Management Association.

Front Office
Wendi Wilson, Administrative Assistant
Wendi focuses on patient service. Her outstanding attention to detail has made her a vital component to the NCRM team. She assists patients with insurance/billing questions. Wendi has been with us since 1999.
Kitty McDivitt, Receptionist
Kitty works to help keep the front office running smoothly. Kitty schedules appointments, verifies insurance benefits, and greets our patients.
Kelli McGowan
Kelli assists patients with appointment scheduling and billing. Her cheerful personality will greet you during the checkout process.
